US-2 railroad underpass
The highway will be lowered to allow for more clearance under the railroad tracks just south of the US-95 and US-2 interchange.
After construction, loads as tall as 17' will be able to pass underneath.
Construction
Work will start May 30 and take until mid-November to complete.
Crews will use temporary pavement to widen the highway and keep one lane open in each direction, but drivers should still expect congestion.
