SH-3: Middle Fork Potlatch Creek Bridge

A new structure with wider shoulders will meet modern vehicle needs and support commercial traffic.

The 1953 structure near Juliaetta will be replaced, and a new sidewalk on the west side will be added. Temporary signals will be in place to allow for alternating, one-way traffic during construction.

Work paused for winter

Work is done for the 2021 season, though crews will return in spring of 2022 to finish guardrail. Crews will also replace temporary pavement that was put down before winter with permanent pavement. Work next year is expected to take about one month, with traffic controlled by temporary signals again.

Construction will begin again in early April to place permanent pavement and finish guardrail. During one month of final work, one lane of traffic will be controlled by temporary signals.
