Idaho 55 – Donnelly to Deinhard Lane

This project will create a smoother driving surface and extend the service life of the roadway.

The project will address wear and tear along the ten mile stretch of highway between Donnelly and McCall. Work will include repairing cracks and potholes, placing a pavement overlay and adjusting approaches and driveways to match the height of the roadway.

PROJECT UPDATES

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Idaho 55 will be reduced to one lane with pilot cars
  • All lanes will be open on weekends
  • Roadway surface will be uneven for several weeks
  • Speed limit will be reduced and 12-foot restrictions will
    be in place
  • ITD will improve driveway transitions after paving is
    complete

Beginning just north of Donnelly, ITD will:

  • Repair potholes and cracks in roadway
  • Place a new layer of pavement
  • Pave approaches to match the roadway
