The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) invites the public to participate in a public hearing process regarding the abandonment of the Idaho Highway 75 Spur.
The ID-75 Spur, also known as Sun Valley Road, connects ID-75 in Ketchum and Trail Creek Road in Sun Valley (milepost 0.0 - 3.6). See below for options on how to participate and comment during the public hearing process.Ways to participate
ITD is offering multiple ways to participate and comment on a proposed action to abandon the ID-75 Spur to Blaine County.
The comment period will remain open until Friday, January 29.
OPTION 1: Zoom Webinar
Thursday, January 21
6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Zoom webinar will have a brief presentation followed by a Q&A session via the online chat feature. Staff from ITD will be joined by representatives from Ketchum, Sun Valley and Blaine County. No official comments will be taken during the Zoom webinar.
OPTION 2: In-person Meetings

During scheduled in-person meetings, individuals will have an opportunity to view displays, ask questions and/or provide verbal or written testimony. In-person meetings will be available on a limited basis and ITD requests that those who attend follow recommended guidelines relating to COVID-19.

The Department is required to conduct a public hearing on all state highway system (SHS) abandonments, or jurisdictional changes that may impact adjacent cities before the Idaho Transportation Board makes a final decision.
