I-90: Pennsylvania Avenue Bridges

The 1960 structures over Pennsylvania Avenue on I-90 in CDA will be replaced in 2020.

Replacement is estimated to take until October, with a complete closure of the road and sidewalks underneath to ensure safety and efficiency. Demolition and pile-driving activities are expected to create noise and vibration impacts, though that kind of work will be limited to daytime hours.

Early snow

In response to snow coming Oct. 23, the Sherman on-ramp and all lanes are back open on I-90 over Pennsylvania Ave, but late next week when it warms up, crews will be back out for the final touches. Only then will Pennsylvania Ave underneath the overpasses open again.
