I-90: Division Street, Elizabeth Park Overpasses

The Idaho Transportation Department is replacing the I-90 overpasses over Division Street and Elizabeth Park Road to improve safety on this highly traveled corridor.

What to expect in 2024

In spring 2024, crews will complete the project with a final concrete overlay on both eastbound bridges. I-90 will be reduced to one lane in each direction during this work.

Construction ends for winter 2023

Work has wrapped up for this construction season. Crews completed everything on the westbound side of the highway this year. The eastbound bridges in both locations will be completed with a final concrete overlay in spring 2024.

February 2023

Work on westbound bridges begins

I-90 will be reduced to one lane in each direction during bridge construction starting Monday, February 6.

November 2022

Construction paused for winter

As of November 2022, construction is paused for winter. Crews will be working in the median for the next few weeks, which will require short lane closures, but otherwise all lanes of traffic will be open for the winter. In spring 2023, crews will start reconstructing the westbound overpasses. Between construction seasons, I-90 will be open to two lanes in each direction.

March 2022

Work on eastbound bridges begins

Work is taking place from March through October. I-90 is reduced to one lane in each direction during bridge construction.
