I-90: Blue Creek Bay Bridges

Repairing the deck and painting support structures will keep the bridges in service longer.

A follow-up project to replace the temporary joints with permanent ones is planned sometime in the five years after the 2020 construction season, which will finish the driving surface of both bridges.

Westbound complete

Traffic was switched over to the newly completed westbound bridge so crews could finish up on the eastbound bridge.

A paving project adjacent to these bridge repairs will extend the work zone for eastbound traffic.

All traffic was moved onto the westbound bridge as crews prepare for upcoming demolition on the eastbound bridge.
