I-84 Burley and Heyburn Interchanges

ITD plans to replace the I-84 interchanges in Burley and Heyburn to better serve traffic and growth in the area.

Built in the early 1960s, the interchanges have reached the end of their service lives. ITD is focused on improving safety, mobility, and economic opportunity for all users who travel these important agricultural and industrial routes.

Leading Idaho with Transportation

This project is being funded with Transportation Expansion and Congestion Mitigation (TECM) funds as part of the Leading Idaho TECM Program. The program allows ITD to accelerate project timelines to address rapid growth and build critical infrastructure today that would otherwise take many years to fund and build.
