I-15 / US-20 Interim Ramp Modifications

Ramp Improvements

ITD has improvement plans to begin construction on the northbound I-15 off ramp onto US-20 eastbound. Plans will include adding a free flowing right turn lane onto eastbound US-20 to allow for constant traffic movement, in turn helping alleviate the traffic backlog onto the interstate and highway. ITD will also build a pedestrian tunnel under the roadway, replacing the current at-grade cross walk, to provide safer passage for bicyclists and pedestrians. Crews will begin construction in April with plans on being completed in the fall. This project is intended to help the safety and mobility of the traveling public in the interim until the I-15/US-20 Connector project moves forward into construction in the distant future.
