Submit your feedback on the placement of future electric vehicle charging stations in Idaho
Read MoreAs part of the US Department of Transportation’s National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is partnering with the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and the Office of Energy and Mineral Resources (OEMR) to gather statewide public feedback to help determine the future locations of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Once compiled, ITD will use its findings and other qualifying factors, such as existing infrastructure, capabilities, and accessibility, to select locations for infrastructure rollout.
We invite you to attend one of seven upcoming public meetings held throughout the state to learn more about the project, ask questions, and submit your ideas:

The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program was established by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to provide states with the necessary funding to strategically deploy EV charging infrastructure, establishing an interconnected network of EV charging stations across the United States. Municipalities or companies interested in receiving a federal grant may apply through ITD once the state plan is approved.
