Construction crews are beginning clearing and grubbing work in the median for the median detour. They are also working on driving piles for temporary shoring at Ross Fork Creek.
Motorists should carefully follow signs and posted speed limits while travelling through the construction area. Motorists should also be aware of trucks entering the highway from the median at lower speeds. Drivers are encouraged to check https://511.idaho.gov or the 511 app to keep track of road conditions and construction.
ITD will host an open house at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel on May 15, 2019 to share final design plans for the new interchange. Please drop in anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. to speak with project staff, review plans and give comments.
