Updates

August 14, 2023

Beginning tonight the first girder placement will be done. The next girder placements will be on 8/16, 8/21, and 8/23.

April 7, 2023

Contractor Sundt-Cannon is currently finishing the culverts under the northbound road at Ross Fork Creek and Town Lateral. Once this is complete, they will move the traffic currently on the detour back to the northbound lanes. This is set to occur April 10th at night.

Once the traffic has been moved back to the northbound lanes, Sundt-Cannon will work to complete the tie-ins to the crossover on the southbound side. When completed, the southbound traffic will be moved on to the median detour lanes. This is set to occur April 17th at night.

December 13, 2022

Construction crews are beginning clearing and grubbing work in the median for the median detour. They are also working on driving piles for temporary shoring at Ross Fork Creek.

Motorists should carefully follow signs and posted speed limits while travelling through the construction area. Motorists should also be aware of trucks entering the highway from the median at lower speeds. Drivers are encouraged to check https://511.idaho.gov or the 511 app to keep track of road conditions and construction.
