The Idaho Transportation Department is replacing the US-95 Weiser River Bridge, located 10 miles north of Council. The new bridge will be wider with upgraded guardrail and additional safety enhancements.
Knife River Construction will continue working through the winter and plans to open the bridge to two lanes of traffic by the end of the year. The bridge is currently reduced to one lane with temporary signals on either end of the structure. Flagging may also occur at various stages of work. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and check 511.idaho.gov for the latest construction updates.
