SH-45 Repaving

The Idaho Transportation Department paved 13 miles of SH-45, between the SH-78 junction (Walters Ferry) and Deer Flat Road (Nampa).

These improvements will extend the life of the road.

Construction update

Improvements to SH-45 included:

  • Resurfacing the bridge deck at Mora Canal
  • Removing the existing pavement and resurfacing the highway between SH-78 junction (Walters Ferry) and Deer Flat Road (Nampa)
  • Widening the turning radius on SH-45 at Missouri Avenue and at Patterson Avenue
  • Paving driveway approaches and shoulder work

This fall, crews will return to the Mora Canal and work underneath the bridge. There will be no impacts to traffic. Thank you for your patience during construction.
